Make your own Reiki Drum in the peaceful surroundings at East Point Retreat Center, Heislerville, NJ
Join myself and co-facilitator Donna Kay Wentz to create a beautiful animal skin drum imbued with Reiki energy for your very own.
During this one day Retreat, we will guide you to make your own drum and imbue it with Reiki energy. If you are not Reiki attuned, no worries, we can imbue it for you! Among Ceremony and Ritual, we will share a day of fun and community as we gather in Circle to create something made completely from natural materials. We will guide you in the Art of drumming so that you may go home and begin to build a relationship with your Drum.
Along with this, there will be a Shamanic Drum Journey led by Rose to the Spirit of your new drum. Drumming is an ancient practice often associated with Shamans and Indigenous peoples around the world. The sound of the Drum can take us to places yet unknown and bring us answers to our Inner questions. Drumming itself entrains our heart to the Heartbeat of the Earth and into heart coherence.
Details: Your investment for this class includes all the materials for your Drum and drum stick along with the workshop. The wild white tail deer hide skins are sourced ethically in Canada by hunters who use all parts of the animal. The drum hoop is white ash and hand steamed. The lacing is made from deer rawhide. You can choose to make a 14" or 16" drum.
